Sandra Bullock has a tough act to follow – herself. She hit it big at the box office in The Proposal last month. Now, she’s hoping to reprise her success in another romantic comedy opposite Hangover hunk Bradley Cooper.

In All About Steve, Bullock plays Mary Horowitz, an off-beat constructor of cross-word puzzles who ends up stalking a guy she met on a blind date. Parade.com’s Jeanne Wolf found out that Sandra understood a woman who seems a little south of normal.

“I connected with her. If I had grown up to be who I was supposed to be, without being concerned about what other people thought, I would have become more like Mary. I had a lisp and got sent to speech therapy. I was like, ‘Why?’ I tended to ramble. One idea would beget another idea …”
