Sam Worthington: ‘Actors Don’t Have to Fear Being Replaced by Technology’


Sam Worthington has soared to the A-list since starring in the futuristic blockbuster Avatar. Now, he’s gone back to ancient Greece to fight gods and monsters in a remake of the ’80s hit Clash of the Titans.

The original film starred a young Harry Hamlin as Perseus, the son of Zeus, but Worthington has a very different take on the role. Parade.com’s Jeanne Wolf found out why the Aussie actor wanted to make Perseus a hero for kids as well as adults.
