Robert Downey Jr. last played a legendary Brit in Chaplin. This time he’s taking on a fictional hero as the title sleuth in Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes, serving up a contemporary twist on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s brilliant detective, with Jude Law’s Watson along for the ride.

Parade.com’s Jeanne Wolf found out why Downey wasn’t worried about reinventing Holmes as a kung-fu fighting crime stopper.
