Christian Slater: ‘The Fact That I’m 40 Is A Miracle’


After his TV series, My Own Worst Enemy, was cancelled last year, Christian Slater was immediately tapped by Jerry Bruckheimer to star in The Forgotten, debuting tonight on ABC.

He seems happy with the new cast, a new network and a chance to play a detective driven by the disappearance of his young daughter to create a team dedicated to searching for missing persons.

Parade.com’s Jeanne Wolf found out that Slater is spooked by the idea of losing someone you love.




“It’s not a huge leap. I mean, God forbid that any of us would ever have to go through what this particular character is going through on The Forgotten. But, I certainly know that I can identify with loving your family and loving your kids and thinking they’re the most important things in your life. Losing one of them is just not something you want to give a lot of thought to…”
