Antonio Banderas is no stranger to playing Spanish lovers, but he’s more than a handsome hunk in The Other Man. Banderas co-stars with Laura Linney and Liam Neeson as the mysterious rival for the affections of a married woman whose husband sets out to track him down.

Parade.com’s Jeanne Wolf found out that exploring the dimensions of love and commitment made him think about his own 13-year marriage to Melanie Griffith.

“It’s weird, but possible. Melanie and I, what we do is, believe it or not, just live day by day. We walk in this path together and we don’t know if the path is going to take us to that goal of being together forever. I do hope some day we can just look at each other and go, ‘Wow, we’ve been together for 40 years.’ Our marriage is definitely working, in spite of a lot of obstacles…”
